20th Annual SHOOT New
Directors Showcase Celebrates Class of 2022

SHOOT’s 20th Annual New Directors Showcase Reel made its premiere at the SHOOT New Directors Showcase Event at the DGA in NYC on 11/17/22. Click Here for full NDS event details and panel videos.

The NDS Class of 2022 offers a total of 33 up-and-coming directors. The field includes 15 women and 11 directors who are unaffiliated with a production company. The work spans commercials, PSAs, spec advertising, promo fare, branded content, short films, music videos, trailers and episodic TV.

Filmmaker backgrounds are far ranging including recent film school grads, photographers, actors, writers, an assistant director, an athlete who broke in with surf and skiing films, producers, live theater artisans, an ongoing editor and ex-agency creatives.
