National Geographic’s fan-favorite series Life Below Zeroo gives viewers chills as it captures the extreme lifestyles of the tough residents living off the grid in Alaska. For more than 100 episodes, viewers have been captivated as these individuals battle whiteout snowstorms, unpredictable frozen terrain and man-eating carnivores in one of the most isolated regions in the world. With temperatures as low as below 40, crew members face their own unique challenges filming in the wilderness as they brave some of the world's most dangerous conditions. The series has received four cinematography Emmy® wins, as recently as 2020.
