Jake is currently nominated for two Emmy Awards for the critically acclaimed series "Beef" (Netflix; A24)--for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series as an EP, and for directing "The Great Fabricator" episode. Beef has a total of 13 Emmy nominations.
 Schreier’s directorial body of work spans the commercial, music video and feature realms. His iconic Kendrick Lamar short film "We Cry Together" won the Grand Prix for Film Craft at the Cannes Lions 2023. He has directed striking music videos for such artists as Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Haim, Benny Blanco, Cashmere Cat, Chance the Rapper, and Francis and the Lights.
Schreier’s videos have earned a series of awards including Best Pop video for the UK MVAs and multiple Gold Clios. Back in 2012, he made his feature film directing debut with "Robot & Frank," starring Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, James Marsden, Liv Tyler, and Peter Sarsgaard.
The feature premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, winning the Alfred P. Sloane Prize. Schreier has directed episodes for a range of TV shows including the Michel Gondry produced "Kidding" (starring Jim Carrey), the FX comedy series "Dave" and the upcoming "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" for Disney+. Schreier has turned out global campaigns for the likes of Beats By Dre, PlayStation, Levi’s, Verizon and HP to name a few. He directs commercials via Park Pictures. Schreier is now in prep on the Marvel film "Thunderbolts," starring Florence Pugh, Steven Yeun, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan and Julia Louis Dreyfus.
